Our Programs
Our focus is in the Ranchito neighborhood of Tijuana. Here are some of our programs and resources we offer.
Community Center
The backbone of our ministry, this center is the hub of most of our programs and resources for Ranchito. It has a dormitory facilities, a kitchen, and meeting rooms.
Spiritual Growth
We have a vibrant church growing at Faro de Luz. Our community center turns into a worship hall a few times a week with singing, music, and children's programs. We also offer discipleship classes, Bible classes, conferences for men, women, and couples.
Education
We offer tutoring and literacy courses as well as job skills training. Sewing and embroidery are some of our most popular courses.
Community Improvement
We want to see the Rachito neighborhood as a safe, flourishing place. Our goal is to partner with the community to create gathering places like a soccer field, playground, and neighborhood park. These places provide a common space to enjoy and an alternative to gang activity or vandelism.
Intervention
There is a lot of suffering and addiction in the Ranchito neighborhood. We help facilitate interventions for families in need and help cover the cost of treatment and care when possible.
Safe House
Located in a neighboring area (location and images not disclosed for protection), our Safe House exists to offer refuge for women fleeing abusive situations.
